Installation Guide
Step 1
Boot the ISO

Flash to USB or mount in VM. Boot the server from the ISO — installation is fully automatic, no manual partitioning needed.

Step 2
Login to Server

After reboot, login to the server console with the default credentials: Username kotha · Password kotha123

Step 3
Network Config

Set a static IP address for your server so it is reachable on your network. Note down the IP address.

Step 4
Open Web Browser

From any device on the same network, open a browser and navigate to http://<server-ip> to access the Kotha PBX web interface.

Step 5
Register Account

Create your account with your company name, a valid email address, and a secure password to activate the system.

Step 6
Start Free Trial

Begin with the 14-day free trial to explore all features — no payment required. Upgrade to a paid plan anytime from your dashboard.

Full SIP & PJSIP extension management with caller ID, voicemail, per-extension call recording, and real-time registration monitoring. Supports registration, IP-based and gateway trunks with automatic failover, codec control (G.711, G.729, GSM, Opus) and bulk capacity management.

IVR & Intelligent Routing

Multi-level auto-attendant menus with custom audio, multi-digit options (0–9, *, #), nested IVR, loop and timeout handling. Pattern-based outbound and DID-based inbound routing with office hours, holiday schedules, and per-route caller ID override.

Queues, Ring Groups & Callbacks

Professional ACD with 7 strategies: ringall, leastrecent, fewestcalls, random, rrmemory, linear, wrandom. Agent pause/resume, hold announcements, position announcements. Smart callback queue — callers opt for a callback instead of waiting on hold.

Voice Broadcasting & Campaigns

Bulk voice calls to thousands of contacts from phone lists. Scheduled recurring campaigns with working-day restrictions, timezone support, CSV import, and retry logic. Real-time broadcast monitor with pause/resume/cancel and DNC integration.

Complete call logs with timestamps, direction, duration, disposition, and recording links. Agent performance reports with AHT, inbound vs outbound. Broadcast history with answer rates. Real-time dashboard — live CPU, memory, call metrics, and trunk balance history.

Real-time Live Monitor

Full-screen dashboard showing active calls, queue status, agent availability, and system health — powered by WebSocket and Asterisk AMI. Queue monitor tracks waiting calls, agent utilisation, and API call source/domain per active call.

DNC & Call Filtering

Do Not Call list with bulk CSV import, source tracking, and audit trail — auto-checked before every outbound call for legal compliance. Configurable spam filters with custom block audio, duration-based temp blocks, and schedule-based activation.

REST API & WebSocket

Full REST API with API key auth and IP whitelist. Trigger voice blasts and quick calls, check status, list audio files — GET and POST. WebSocket API streams real-time call events. Ideal for CRM, RADIUS billing, click-to-call, and alert systems.
